**External Only** Pelvic Floor Health Sessions
The pelvic floor is part of a complex of core support.
Pelvic floors can be impacted by pain, prolapse or weakness/ incontinence. Although this rarely gets talked about, it is really common for women to experience some pelvic floor issues at some point in her life.
Stress, anxiety, depression and trauma can impact the pelvic floor, and that this can become "chicken-and-egg", because pelvic floor issues can also cause anxiety or depression?
Additionally pelvic floor can be impacted by pregnancy, birthing, poor pressure management, constipation and straining, perimenopause and menopause, to name some.
I can help you with issues of incontinence, prolapse and pain. This can be supported by changing breath patterns, gradually strengthening muscles that attach to the pelvis for proper alignment, and learning to self-release muscle tension where possible.
Typically remediating pelvic floor issues can take time and persistence, months and even years.
Often between 8-12 sessions are needed to strengthen core and pelvic floor and start new habits.
