Somatic Movement Support For Anxiety
We explore tools that may help you understand and manage some of the physical feelings of anxiety:
-developing enteroception and proprioception (noticing how your body feels).
-breath and voice (tension and anxiety often impact these)
-Heart Math (breath and heart centered calming practice)
-yielding weight to ground (relaxing unconscious muscle holding)
-Laban Efforts- binding to freeing flow (notice how joints may lock with tension and how to unlock them)
-Laban Kinisphere (how we use the space around us)
-Moro reflex and it's completion (Moro is our primary startle reflex, we explore how it feels and then complete/ resolve it)
-movement for releasing high intensity stress
-movement for gently calming and grounding
-No Movement Experience At All Necessary, you only need a body
