'The body says what words cannot'

-Martha Graham

When I paint it, I see it before me

When I paint it,
I see it before me.

When I write it,
I capture and can revisit the words and ideas.

When I move it,
I feel it living within me,
in my beating heart, my breath, my muscles and my bones.

Through embodiment and movement,
you can come to deeply felt self-understanding
and there lies the potential to transform.

If you are on a journey
of working with mental health issues such as anxiety
and have been helped by talk-based psychotherapy or counseling,
you may still feel tension in
or disconnection from your body.

Gently, safely reconnecting with your bodily sensations
and exploring supportive breath and movement options
offers you tools to learn deep calmness,
self-connection and self-expression.

Caring for areas of your body impacted by challenging emotional states
and restrictive movement habits
can help you heal.

The brain senses the body
and meeting these issues at a body level is an important part of change.

By returning to your bodily sensations
you begin to explore your body's own voice and preferences,

and find pathways to support shifting your body's physiology
that is connected with feelings.

You forge pathways to experience and express joy and contentment

choice, freedom and resilience.

My work is client centered, everyone experiences touch and movement differently.
Our relationships with our bodies may be complex and totally individual.
Your sense of agency and choice is assured.

I support all body types and work in a respectful, body positive framework.
I aim to support neuro-divergent, lgbtq2ia+, and bipoc humans.
It is worth discussing what this means to you specifically.
